This Privacy Policy explains how Fewa Technologies (“Fewa”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Zraby platform, including the Zraby website (zraby.com), the Zraby shopping app for customers, and the Zraby Seller app for store owners (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Zraby is an online marketplace operated by Fewa Technologies that connects buyers with local stores across Nepal. The Zraby customer app is used to browse and buy products; the Zraby Seller app is used by merchants to manage their stores, orders, and live selling.

2. Information we collect

  • Account & profile: name (or business name), email address, phone number, password, and — for sellers — store profile, logo/banner, and store address.
  • Orders & transactions: products viewed and purchased, order history, delivery address, and order status.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and transaction references; we do not collect or store your full card or bank credentials.
  • Content you provide: product images and descriptions, short videos (reels), live-stream video and audio (sellers), reviews, messages, and support requests.
  • Camera & microphone: the Zraby Seller app accesses your camera and microphone only when you start a live stream (“Go Live”), to broadcast to your viewers. They are not accessed in the background.
  • Device & technical data: device model, operating system, app version, language, and unique identifiers, including push notification tokens provided by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
  • Usage & diagnostics: in-app activity, searches, and crash/diagnostic reports used to keep the app stable and improve it.
  • Approximate location: if you grant permission, we may use approximate location to show nearby stores or assist delivery. You can decline or revoke this at any time in your device settings.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and, for sellers, to operate your store.
  • To process orders, enable delivery, and support payments and payouts.
  • To power features such as live selling, reels, search, and recommendations.
  • To send order updates, notifications, and important service messages.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To keep the platform safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to run the marketplace:

  • Payment providers — to process payments and seller payouts.
  • Buyers and sellers — order and delivery details are shared between the buyer and the relevant store to fulfil an order.
  • Service providers — including Google Firebase (push notifications), our live-streaming and content-delivery infrastructure, and diagnostics/crash-reporting providers, acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal — where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

5. Push notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications about orders, messages, deals, and account activity. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

6. Data retention & account deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@zraby.com or through the in-app account settings. Some records may be retained where the law requires.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS) and protected with industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for users aged 16 and above and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@zraby.com.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
